Recently, various advertising competitions and awards have started and the creatives of Beijing Dentsu have been invited to be the judges of the IAI International Advertisement Awards, 2018 ECI Awards, Portfolio Night, Times Young Creative Awards and V-UP Vertical Advertisement Awards.
On May 25, Creative Director Tian Gang was invited to be the judge of the 2018 Times Young Creative Awards. Walk for Love, the public service advertising produced by Tian Gang's team once won the Grand Prize of the IAI International Advertising Awards, the Golden Award of the CCTV PSAs Competition, TOP 10 PSAs Creativity of iFeng Advertising Awards.

On May 23, GECD Hiroshi Yoda was invited to be the judge of the Portfolio Night 14 Beijing station after being the judge in 2018 China Content Marketing Awards. Hosted by The One Club for Creativity, which was a world top non-profit institute in creative and design field, Portfolio Night aimed at recruiting creative talents worldwide and exchanging advertisements. Hiroshi Yoda has worked in China for more than 10 years and he is responsible for the Chinese business of many world well-known brands such as Canon, Toyota, Lenovo, Coca Cola, Nestle and P&G. With a rich experience in creative service, he has won awards at the Cannes Lions, LIA, IBA award, CLIO, Great-wall Awards, etc.

On May 19, EDC Takashi Yamaguchi was invited to be the judge of the 2018 ECI Awards. Graduated from the Commercial Design School of Kanazawa College of Art, he joined the Dentsu headquarters after graduation and was responsible for clients like Toyota cars, Sony, Canon, Suntory, Shiseido and Unicharm. He also won awards on at the ADFEST, ACC, CM Advertisement Festival Japan, Dentsu Advertisement Awards.

On May 16 and 19, GECD Wu Xudong was invited to be the judge of the IAI International Advertising Awards and V-UP Vertical Advertising Creative Competition respectively.

In addition to being the judge, Wu Xudong also gave a speech with How Big Ideas Came Up theme on IAI International Advertising Creative Festival forum. He pointed out that the Big Idea should be those eternal elements, recognizable, sustainable, resonance-arousing and unique and it is an advertising asset. Everyone that is part of the brand building should be the protector of the brand's image. The brand image accumulation is like the bank saving and the BIG IDEA is the financer who makes the best investment return for the brand. It should be the source of the brand's wealth.
In recent years, Beijing Dentsu strengthens constantly the combination of creativity capability with digital, mobile, technology and content marketing. The progress in creativity has been highly recognized by the industry. We have received invitations to be the judges from all kinds of major advertising events in and out of China.
